Football

Luke had his first football game today! He missed the first two weeks because we were gone. His mama and daddy were not there to see this one but Grammy did a good job capturing it. This working thing is getting the best of me. I only think it's hard during the week but when it keeps me from that ballfield that's where I want to draw the line:) He really seemed to enjoy it but his mama thinks baseball is much safer!

A Day in the sun

After a day of parties last Saturday Karrington and Luke went back to Kaplan with their Papa and Mimi. It was nice having only one child for a few days and they loved being away. Tuesday we all made the venture over to pick the kids up and spent the day in the pool. Sam, Katy and the boys came too on their way back to Texas. We have enjoyed being with Grant and Gray a lot these past few weeks. They are getting so big and fun. It was a nice day to hang out with family and enjoy our last few days of summer.

Quick Trip

After a heartbreaking weekend of baseball we took off to the beach for a couple of nights. We had 10 kids and 6 adults in tow!! It was so much fun and the kids did great. We tried to take family beach pics (which is why we match in some pictures below) but the weather turned violent on us so we headed to eat . Wish we could have stayed longer! Who knew we would be planning our lives around baseball:)

Seasons End

Just a quick follow up to the last baseball post. League ball came to an end tonight. The Braves finished the season with a 13-1 winning record. We finished second in the championship but couldn't be more proud of our boys and the season they had. Luke bounced his second ball over the fence this week. Way to go Luke!! Not many 7 yr olds did that this year and we are soooo proud of him. We had a great year with a great group of kids and coaches. There was a lot of talent on this team and we can't wait to see what these boys do with it!! Now on to All Stars and travel ball!!

The team minus a few coaches

This is one interesting dugout..
Its almost as interesting as the game sometimes
Luke scoring a run.
For those wondering...
Yes that is Hayley hanging on the fence!! She tends to get out of hand!!

Dancing Girls

Last weekend the girls danced in their 6th and 4th review. They both danced their little hearts out and enjoyed themselves. Lilly loves to be on stage and is quite the little performer. Karrington really puts her best into it and has such a pretty smile on stage. We enjoy watching how they improve year after year!

Baseball....

Here our a few pics from league ball this year. The Braves finished the season 13-1 and we are looking forward to the championship games next week. Now that league ball is almost done travel ball is in full swing. The Hurricanes won their first tournament last weekend and they were so excited. There is quite a few hours put into 7 yr old baseball but it is so worth it seeing those boys take the field!! My girls would disagree

He loves it
